Pakistan’s Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has expressed hope that the ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran will be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.
Speaking during a television interview, Tarar said Pakistan is closely watching the situation and hopes that both countries will move toward a peaceful and positive solution. He added that if Pakistan plays any role as a mediator, it must act with great care and responsibility.
The minister also said that some groups do not want regional peace and are trying to create misunderstandings about Pakistan’s role in international matters. According to him, such elements are attempting to create confusion and damage Pakistan’s image at a time when the country is receiving global recognition for its diplomatic efforts.
Attaullah Tarar further stated that Pakistan’s growing respect and active role in regional affairs is not being accepted by certain groups. He stressed that Pakistan remains committed to peace, stability, and constructive dialogue in the region.
