Pakistan Prepare 25-Player Training Camp for Australia ODI Series

Pakistan is set to begin preparations for their upcoming three-match ODI home series against Australia national cricket team, with reports suggesting that a 25-member squad will be invited to a white-ball training camp.

According to sources, selectors, the team captain, and the head coach have already finalized a list of white-ball performers for the camp. The training sessions are expected to begin from 15 May, where players will undergo intensive preparation ahead of the important series.

The camp will also include practice matches, with one game likely to be held in Lahore and another in Rawalpindi. These matches are designed to test players’ form and help the team management assess combinations for the ODI series.

Several well-known and emerging players are expected to be part of the camp, including Saim Ayub, Abrar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, and Haris Rauf. Other expected names include Fakhar Zaman, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Wasim Jr, along with several young domestic performers.

However, players currently involved in the Test squad are not expected to be included in this white-ball camp. All-rounders like Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Nawaz are also reportedly not part of the initial list.

The camp will focus on improving fitness, match awareness, and team combinations as Pakistan looks to build a strong squad for the high-profile ODI series against Australia.
